A Taste of the Masters-Painting Class 3

During a five month class, we will have one class per month where you will paint and learn a little about impressionism and expressionism, which will inform and enhance your own painting. This is a class for anyone interested in learning techniques and working on their own skill and style. It is said that “imitation is the highest form of flattery”.  It’s also the best way to learn different techniques and styles that you can later apply to your own work.

That said, in this month’s class, the third out of five, we will focus on the artist Vincent VanGogh and his very specific brushstrokes.  We’ll be working from images of his work, but will also have a still-life of flowers for the more advanced, to emulate his work in our study.
