Kid’s Wheel Throwing

Wednesday, 8/12, Thursday, 8/13, Monday 8/17- with Tana Kettner & Wanda Nickles

9-10:30 am

Ages: 10+

Minimum 4/6 maximum

This introductory class will include 3 sessions which will focus on the basic skills of throwing on the wheel, trimming, and glazing, consecutively. Students will need to come back at a later determined date to pick up their finished pieces after they have been glaze-fired.  In this class you will learn the basics of working with clay on the potter's wheel and will create your own small wheel-thrown pieces (2-4 pieces) to take home. Future classes may be taken to advance your skills.  Short fingernails are strongly recommended for this class.
