Photography Class

Photography is the way we record history, share our visual ideas and learn to look at the world in a different way.  It is also a valuable form of therapy we use for our own satisfaction, first for ourselves, and then to share with others.

Digital photography uses the same principles and techniques that massive wooden plate cameras did over 150 years ago, but the technology opens up potential way beyond the imagination that visual artists might have dreamed about just 40 years ago.  It is certainly the case for the guy that offers this class.

The first goal of this class is to have fun.  Second? Build your confidence in using your gear.  Third? Learn how your camera responds to the scene so that you can make the camera tell the story YOU SEE!  Sports, wildlife, portraits, even star trails at night;…
